Hello,

I have some questions, before making my decision on purchasing this software.

1. Is it possible to control how many listings a guest visitor can see before having to login/register?

2. Is it possible to send an email to the listing's owner when a user visits their listing (without telling the user about it)? This email will contain the name, email and other information about the logged-in visitor.

3. Can there be two types of users: listing owners and visiting users? Visiting users will look for information that they need, while listing owners can create new listings. Visiting users will log-in to be able to see more than a few listings.

I got other questions answered by your very detailed description, for which I am grateful. I hope the documentation is as detailed.

Thank you,

Alex

Hello,

currently, there is no built-in functionality to limit the number of listings a visitor can view before being required to log in, and there is no way to automatically notify listing owners via email each time someone views their listing. However, these features can be implemented through custom code modifications.

Before proceeding, I need to clarify a few things:

  • Do you want search engines to be able to access all listings without any restrictions, or should they also be subject to viewing limits?
  • Is it possible that a viewer (non-listing) account might later want to upgrade and become a listing owner to post their own listings?

Thank you.

Thanks for your responses.

Search engine can see all listings without restrictions.

Yes, a regular user can later become a listing user, but it's not very common.

Another question: code modification, is your application written in a way that I can overwrite some functions, but still be able to apply your future updates without overwriting my changes (similar to child theme in Wordpress, or "function hooks" just as an example)?

Thank you

Hello,

both options can be implemented.

While the software currently does not support creating add-ons or extensions, we do offer a software upgrade service. This service includes transferring your existing code modifications to the new version of the software.

Thank you.
