Good news! phpListings 1.1.0 is now available. You can download the updated package from your client panel on phpListings.com.
This release brings major improvements to template customization, import performance, SEO (with new Schema.org enhancements), and multiple widgets across the platform. It adds a new Person listing type, expands social network support, improves usability in several form fields, and includes a fully reworked deadlink checker for more accurate results. Plus, 16 bug fixes for better stability and overall performance.
Here’s what’s new in this release:
- The template base code has been extended to simplify custom templates integration.
- The listings import tool has been optimized to process up to 50 listings per 2 minutes, with a cooldown period to reduce server load and improve stability.
- A new Person listing type has been added, enabling the use of the Person schema to include listing details like name, role, and contact information.
- The Custom widget now supports dynamic patterns (e.g., {listing}, {category}, {location}) in heading and description that pull values from the current page. It can also be linked to a specific language, allowing multiple instances per page for different languages.
- The Search Box widget now allows customization of background color and container height, giving you more control over its appearance and layout.
- The Listing Search Results widget now shows the refine search form in an off-canvas panel when the form is hidden via the "Show refine form" widget setting. Clicking the trigger button opens the panel, providing more space for search results.
- The Slider widget now supports up to 10 images per desktop view.
- The Pricing widget now automatically formats prices, removing the .00 decimal when the value is a whole number.
- The Listing, Listing Header and Listing Search Results widgets now have breadcrumbs with Schema.org markup for improved structure and SEO.
- The Listing Reviews widget now includes structured data using Schema.org for better SEO.
- Xing, Mastodon, Discord, Telegram, WeChat, VK, and BeReal have been added as supported social networks. They are available as social custom form fields and in the Footer widget.
- The Tree form field now allows selecting options by clicking either the node title or the associated radio/checkbox, making selection more user-friendly.
- The Custom widget’s advanced CKEditor now allows the <ins> tag, enabling Google Ads banner code to be added to your custom content safely.
- The password reminder now indicates if the user's email is not found or if the account uses a social login.
- The Deadlink checker has been completely reworked and now gives much more accurate results on Cloudflare-protected sites and sites with cookie consent banners.
